§ The lab

Small on purpose.

Seven of us, across research, platform, and advisory work. We stay close to the floor so the software keeps its honesty and the advice is worth paying for.

§A / Research
Husbandry, biology, protocols.

Research.

M. Costa

Founder, husbandry & protocols

Started Entolab in 2021 after five years rearing Tenebrio molitor at production scale. Writes most of our protocols and runs the bench.

S. Nguyen

Entomology, microgravity tolerance

Insect physiologist by training, leads the off-world rearing studies. Joined from a closed-loop life-support group at a UK university.

§B / Platform
Software, data, operations.

Platform.

K. Iversen

Engineering lead

Builds and breaks the Platform with the operators using it. Previously shipped scheduling software for a regional dairy cooperative.

J. Acheampong

Data & ML

Works on yield forecasting, batch-anomaly detection, and the climate models behind the operations console.

§C / Advisory
Strategy, regulatory, economics.

Advisory.

A. Pereira

Operations & logistics

Runs commissioning work and the cross-border shipping playbook. Has moved more live insect batches than is strictly sensible.

R. Ostrowski

Regulatory

Walks operators through EU 2017/893, UK FSA guidance, and whatever comes next. Used to author novel-food applications full time.

L. Daly

Economics & cost modelling

Builds the cost models behind feasibility studies. Spent a decade on agri unit economics before joining the lab.

Two roles open, 2026.

We are hiring a senior facility operator and a software engineer for the Platform. Small team, real responsibility, no agency layers.
